so funny, it almost sent amanda into labor

"private time" with Dylan...

So, I (Jeff) managed to convince Dylan that I am a pretty fun guy and that we needed some time together. On our day, we went to see the Star Wars: Clone Wars movie. We ate the biggest tub of popcorn and an inappropriate amount of lemonade. The movie was, in Dylan's opinion, the "goodest movie" he'd ever seen. Then, after eating some sandwiches, we went down to the grassy slope next to the Dollar theater in Woodbridge and slid down the dry grass on cut up pieces of cardboard. Solid day.

PRE-SCHOOL, day 1

Yesterday morning Dylan started his first day of pre-school. We were prepared for tears and struggle, speeches and extra words of reassurance. We gave Dylan a tasteful "school mohawk" and sent him off expecting tantrums and defiance. 

When we arrived at the door, he walked into the classroom forgetting to say goodbye to his family. So, we, the parents started in with our tears and struggle. Thursday is day 2. We'll be ready. 

the latest on baby scotty...

Well... 

We had pre-term labor in July. 

Scotty was transverse-breech in August. 

We got a new double-stroller in late-August. 

We went to the OB today.

Our due date is official and confirmed: September 14th. 

So, we're still waiting.
